What is Agriculture?

The Agricultural Education program takes a comprehensive approach to preparing tomorrow’s leaders in the food, fiber and natural resources industry. Students completing the program will receive instruction in areas of Conservation, Plant Science, Animal Science, Biotechnology, Landscaping, Leadership and Personal Development. In addition to scheduled class time students will apply what they study to a Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAEP) that is conducted throughout the calendar year. Through their studies and SAE’s, students will have the opportunity to apply for awards and scholarships offered by their membership in the National FFA Organization. Successful completion of the Ag-Ed Program will prepare students for entry-level jobs and/or further education in a variety of agricultural career fields.

Agriculture is our wisest pursuit because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals and happiness
