What is Construction Technology?

This course is designed to teach students how to service and repair all of the parts of a building inside and outside.  Areas of instruction included are electrical wiring with 110V and 220V, plumbing (water and sewer lines), basic and advanced carpentry (roofing, framing, sheet rocking, taping and finishing, siding, etc.), grounds maintenance, basic and advanced masonry, and the basic knowledge of backhoe and track loader operation.

Students planning on pursuing employment in the related industry are encouraged to apply for this program.  This is a two-year program with College credit available.  Students that want to learn in a “hands-on” environment are encouraged to apply for this program.
